A hobby

Hello everyone! If you ask me to write about a hobby, among many that I have, the one I dedicate the most time now is to play ukulele. I started practicing in the last summer with one that my dad loaned me, about 5 months ago. During classes of university I have known how to make time to practice a couple times of a week, but lately I practice it almost daily. To tell the truth, I enjoy too much learning songs, since most of them have a tutorial on YouTube and the notes are much easier than on the guitar. However, when I start learning songs I must practice them a lot, because as I learn by imitating without understanding the theoretical part, it is more mechanical than conscious.
 What I find most difficult is to keep the rhythm when strumming is unconventional. Because there are basic strumming, but it will always be more interesting if you interpret with a more particular one. Anyway, I can learn a song in one or a couple of hours and it is wonderful.
The reason why I started practicing is because my brother always played guitar, and when there were meetings with friends at home, we often sang together while he played. I enjoyed it so much, that's why I feel that the one who knows how to play an instrument adds a special ingredient to the parties. And the guitar for me was very difficult, so I decided to put my energy into the ukulele, which is smaller, easier to learn and also companion to the celebration.
